Dr. Desmond Pringle
Spiritual Architect of the Assembly
Meet
Dr. Desmond Pringle, a proud native of Charleston, South Carolina, is a Dove Award–nominated gospel artist, songwriter, and pastor whose voice and ministry have inspired audiences around the world. He made history as Charleston’s first gospel artist signed to a major record label after a standout performance as the leading man in the nationally touring production of A Good Man Is Hard to Find led to a recording deal with A&M Records. In 2015, he became the first gospel artist to perform at Russia’s world-famous Mariinsky Theatre to a sold-out audience.
A former Director of Urban/Gospel A&R for Warner Bros. Records, Dr. Pringle has worked with icons such as Aretha Franklin, CeCe Winans, Shirley Caesar, and many others.
He is the President of Desmond Pringle Media, Inc., a faith-based organization committed to building lives and shaping minds through Bible-based, Christ-centered content, concepts, and constructs.
He is joyfully married to Tanya Love-Pringle, who faithfully walks beside him in life, ministry, and music.
The Choir Revival is his newest creative initiative. It’s an expression of his passion to empower the local church, edify the Body of Christ, and extend impact far beyond the sanctuary.
